RMT training courses

RMT training courses are open to all members, and include a range of subjects and skills. Thety are mostly taught by 'lay tutors' - union activists such as Janine who share many of your experiences of the workplace and know what sort of issues you face. Learning is participatory rather than lecturing.

Neurodiversity in the Workplace: RMT training course

The union's new 3-day course on Neurodiversity in the Workplace will run on 10-12 September at the National Education Centre. 'Neurodiversity' means that different people have different brain wiring. Unfortunately, those with a minority brain wiring - such as dyslexic, autistic and dyspraxic people - face discrimination at work and in wider society.

RMT Disability in the Workplace training, Doncaster NEC

RMT's first ever week-long training course on Disability in the Workplace for union reps and activists, held at the union's National Education Centre in Doncaster. Designed and delivered by Janine.

Open to all RMT members and fully funded, with accommodation provided and travel reimbursed.

RMT Disabled Members' Weekend

Janine will be tutoring this two-day course at the union's National Education Centre in Doncaster. The course is open to disabled RMT members, is fully funded by the union, and will explain how the union works and how disabled members can get more involved..
