Meeting in Sofia to keep up the fight for women workers' rights across the continent.
The European Transport Workers' Federation brings together transport trade unions across Europe. I was elected to a four-year term on its Women's Committee in May 2013.

The twice-yearly meeting of the European Transport Women's Committee, this time in Berlin.
Janine will be attending and pushing forward campaigns on issues including violence against women transport workers.

Meeting in Brussels, the European Transport Workers' Federation Women's Committee will share information and reports from women trade unionists across Europe's countries and transport sectors, and agree on a publicity campaign to tackle violence against women transport workers - it's not part of the job!

The underground railway (Metro) in Finland's capital city Helsinki is due to go 'driverless' in 2016. I discussed this with Finnish trade unionists Jussi and Satu, and heard a story that has important lessons for London Underground workers and passengers trying to prevent the same calamity happening in London.
