Disabled access to public transport
Don't give up your seat
For someone who needs it more
Pretend you're asleep
On 6 February, I and other members of the TUC Disabled Workers' Committee protested (in the rain!) at Tottenham Court Road station, opposing cuts and supporting the RMT/TSSA London Underground strike.
From the TUC handbook, Autism in the Workplace
- Sean McGovern and Mandy Hudson were elected as co-Chairs of the TUC Disabled Workers' Committee (DWC).
- There is a vacancy for a women's seat on the Committee. This has been notified to unions.
This is the speech I gave to TUC Disabled Workers' Conference on 28 May 2014.
