Janine Booth introduces a discussion on Autism Equality in the Workplace: removing barriers and challenging discrimination

Janine is a writer, poet, trade unionist, socialist and feminist. She is autistic and is the author of the TUC Disabled Workers' Conference policy on autism in the workplace.

TfL Neurodiversity event - Autism Awareness event

Venue: 10th Floor restaurant, London Underground Ltd HQ, 55 Broadway. Open to TfL / London Underground staff.

Janine will give a presentation about the social model of disability as applied to autism, and explain the role of the Trade Unions. (15:00-15:30)

After this and other speakers, Janine will take part in a panel Q&A session (15:30-16:00)

Civil Service 'lunch and learn': Autism and Neurodiversity - changing workplaces not changing workers

Venue: Nobel House, Atrium

Janine will deliver short and snappy sessions encouraging civil service workplaces to become accessible to autistic and other neurodivergent workers by changing themselves rather than trying to change workers.
