Neurodiversity in the Workplace: RMT training course

The union's new 3-day course on Neurodiversity in the Workplace will run on 10-12 September at the National Education Centre. 'Neurodiversity' means that different people have different brain wiring. Unfortunately, those with a minority brain wiring - such as dyslexic, autistic and dyspraxic people - face discrimination at work and in wider society.

Janine is a writer, poet, trade unionist, socialist and feminist. She is autistic and is the author of the TUC Disabled Workers' Conference policy on autism in the workplace.

TfL Neurodiversity event - Autism Awareness event

Janine will give a presentation about the social model of disability as applied to autism, and explain the role of the Trade Unions. (15:00-15:30)

After this and other speakers, Janine will take part in a panel Q&A session (15:30-16:00)
