A monthly space to explore, experience & experiment, with prattling prose & poetry.

We're a fully inclusive, fully accessible space open to every poet from all walks of life - old and new - who are looking for a small and welcoming community. Expect riffing by candlelight in a centuries-old Chapel.

Last Saturday of every month.

The Chapel is in the back garden of the Gallery Cafe. Buy your drinks (and stock up) before you come through - there is no bar in the chapel. There is a great selection of wines and locally brewed beers, as well as ethical soft drinks and tea. Their menu is here: - and if you order food, get it in a take-away box (our favourite is the halloumi wrap...)

Where: The Gallery Café, Bethnal Green
Style: Poetry, acoustic, comedy, prose, monologues, etc.
When: 6.30pm doors, for a 7.00pm sharp start.
Length of pieces: 2-4 minutes
Tickets: £3 in advance, £4 on the door
