I'm posting this just for the record. If people lie about me in public, I guess I need to set the record straight in public. This article - which tackles the lies with the truth - was published on the Workers' Liberty website in February 2014.

This is the speech I gave proposing the resolution on Solidarity With Israeli And Palestinian Workers at RMT's Annual General Meeting 2008 - followed by my reply to points made in the debate. The anti-boycott policy was superceded by a pro-boycott policy at the following year's AGM.

In 2013, Labour MP Ian Mearns introduced a Ten-Minute Rule Bill to require the police to maintain a register of hate crimes committed against people with learning difficulties, learning disabilities and autism. During the early months of 2014, this Bill is progressing through its Parliamentary stages.
In conjunction with RMT, Janine will be running a one-day training course on Mental Health in the Workplace, at a venue near London Bridge. More details to follow.
