Janine is a writer, poet, trade unionist, socialist and feminist. She is autistic and is the author of the TUC Disabled Workers' Conference policy on autism in the workplace.

TfL Neurodiversity event - Autism Awareness event

Janine will give a presentation about the social model of disability as applied to autism, and explain the role of the Trade Unions. (15:00-15:30)

 

After this and other speakers, Janine will take part in a panel Q&A session (15:30-16:00)

Petition hand-in and Protest: Disabled People Demand Guards on Trains

Join disabled people, railway trade unionists and supporters to hand in a petition signed by thousands, demanding the right to turn up and go, to access railway services and travel in safety and comfort.
